The team at the Essex based installation company has announced they are raising money for a number of charity’s this spring.
Project Skills Solutions has announced that members of its team are participating in a 6km obstacle race to raise money for their chosen charity organisations.
Installations Manager Luke will be taking part in the Nuclear Race on 14th May 2016 to raise money for the Amy May Trust, which was set up to support his friend in the wake of a life-changing event.
Knowing she was severely allergic to nuts, Amy experienced a catastrophic anaphylaxis reaction whilst on holiday with friends after being reassured that her meal did not contain any traces of the food. She sustained a severe brain injury due to lack of oxygen.
Amy is now responding well to physiotherapy and speech and language therapy, and arrangements are being made to enable her to return to her parents’ home.
“I have known Amy for many years, and like everyone else in her life, I was devastated when we heard the news,” says Luke.
“I am very proud to help raise money towards her ongoing recovery.”

Also taking part in the Nuclear Race on 14th May 2016 is Viki, who works in administration support.
Viki will be taking part in this event to raise money for the organisation Cure Rett, which works to raise awareness of Rett Syndrome. Beginning in early childhood, Rett Syndrome is a rare condition that affects the development of the brain, causing severe mental and physical disability.
Viki’s Just Giving page can be found here.
The entire team at Project Skills Solutions are proud to hear of staff’s efforts to raise money for charity and wish them the best of luck in their chosen pursuits.
